Localization
According to Wikipedia, "The localization process is most generally related to cultural adaptation and translation of software, video games and websites, and less frequently to any written translation (although these also involve cultural adaptation processes)".

LISA (The Localization Industry Standards Association) on the other hand describes it as, "...the process of modifying products or services to account for differences in distinct markets" explaining that;

                - it is (something) more than “high-tech translation,
                - it must be integrated with other business processes if it is to be effective.
                - it is an integral part of globalization, and without it, other globalization efforts are ineffective.

I have translated a vast amount of text for manuals, websites and local ethnic service booklets and can strengthen your globalization efforts by bringing in my linguistic skills into your team.
