Linguistic Adviser
A Linguistic Adviser is a person who is fluent in writing and speaking their own language at the highest possible level.
They proofread the (mostly) already translated text to ensure that the message is conveyed in a direct, understandable and appealing way. Depending on the nature of the job they must also guarantee that the text does not contain any culturally unacceptable remark(s).
Then, in the recording environment (the studio), they must be able to catch the pronunciation flaws of the artists and make sure that they are re-recorded to meet the clients expectations and the standards of the language.
